Always I Observe Keenly
When spring passes by
All the naked trees
With multiple hues and colors
Adore themselves
Like brides
Butterflies spread love
By kissing each and every flower
Doves and cuckoos and the nightingale
Sing, and heart
In the ocean of beatitude sail
Flowers and dream girls
Are flattered by soft breeze
Melodists of varied metres
From branch to branch sing
And streams rush to the tunes of
Guitars and Santoor
Summer intensifies all the magic
And my beloved’s flirtation too
Always I Observe Keenly

Always I Observe Keenly
Then comes the fall
Every corner turns gloomy
The feathery melodies scatter
With drooping innocence
They leave for some other
Pleasant places to sing and love
And the earth surrenders its moisture
To the wings of dry air
Magnificence and the
Coquettishness of every beauty
Gets sealed
Always I Observe Keenly

Always I Observe Keenly
I see the white frozen crystals falling
From the sky
Steadily everything around turns milky
Freezing the grand trees
The mother earth accumulates
The left out warmth
Embracing the seeds within
With a hope of bright and beautiful future
Always I Observe Keenly

Always I Observe Keenly
The wheel of hope
Turns without clogging till
Posterity
Hearts meet and fall apart
As all words can’t be kept
By the feeble creature
Called man
And in the labyrinth of life
Everybody finally comes out
Dead or alive
Always I Observe Keenly

Always I Observe Keenly
The fallen arise again
With the flames of the lamp
Snuffing out
The glowing sun rises
From the horizon
A new dawn of hope rises.

Always I Observe Keenly.
